Contabo prices and specs from contabo.com/en/vps and its Cloud VPS Core configurator, read 5 August 2026 and re-checked in the live configurator on 6 August 2026. Every Contabo figure above is its one-month rate net of VAT, read with the tax country set to Germany, and your local VAT is added on top. Contabo's site displays prices inclusive of the VAT rate of whichever country it detects you in, so the same Cloud VPS 4 renders as €6.55 at Germany's 19% and €6.88 at a 25% rate. Luxvps prices are final: the price shown is the price you pay, with no setup fee and no required add-ons, billed monthly with no minimum term. Contabo's minimum initial contract length is 1 month, but the prices it advertises are the 24-month rate: its pricing page has no term selector and footnotes every figure as "the effective monthly rate for a 24-month subscription including applicable taxes", and a configurator link carrying ?contract=1 is rewritten back to 24 months. Cloud VPS 4 falls to €4.68/mo on 12 months and €4.40/mo on 24 months. Those discounted terms are billed differently depending on where you live: Contabo's terms state "If the customer's place of regular abode is located outside Germany, then payment for all the services of the Provider will fall due immediately", and with a non-German billing address the order summary reads "Due Today — Prepaid 24 Months" and charges the full term on day one. German customers are billed in monthly instalments. Windows Server Datacenter is a paid add-on on every Core plan and its price scales with the plan: €8.00/mo net on Cloud VPS 4, which is €9.52 with 19% VAT and €10.00 at 25%, then €17.00/mo net on Cloud VPS 6 and €28.00/mo net on Cloud VPS 8.
